A wise man can learn more from his enemies than a fool from his friends. – Niki Lauda

The closer you are to death, the more alive you feel. It’s a wonderful way to live. It’s the only way to drive. – James Hunt

Rush is Ron Howard’s new movie depicting the true story of Formula 1 racers Niki Lauda and James Hunt and their compelling rivalry during the 1970’s.

Whether you’re a Formula 1 fan or not you will love this movie. It is entertaining from beginning to end. The racing scenes are unbelievably realistic and the direction is fantastic.

The film follows Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) and James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) rise from Formula 3 to Formula 1 and their rivalry from beginning to end. James is cocky, arrogant and your typical playboy. He loves the fame and attention, especially from the women, that he gets. Lauda is more focused on work and obsessed with succeeding and being the best.

Chris Hemsworth proves that he is a future award-winning actor as his portrayal of James Hunt is brilliant but it is Daniel Brühl who steals every scene he’s in. I think he deserved an Oscar nomination aswell as his Golden Globe nod.

One of the best movies of 2013.

We’re not who we are – Marty (Originally from The X Files)

I have watched The Cabin In The Woods for the second time, I now feel that I should review it

“Five friends go for a break at a remote cabin in the woods, where they get more than they bargained for. Together, they must discover the truth behind the cabin in the woods.” -IMDb

The film is a twisty journey where everything is not as it seems

Now the the film is set up to look like your stereotypical friends go to a cabin in the woods and slowly get picked off. This film isn’t like that at all it just appears that way I mean I didn’t see the trailer before I saw the movie for the first time and thats a good thing because the trailer kind of gives somethings away about the movie. Now when I first saw the poster for the movie, although the cabin twisting like a rubix cube intrigued me, the title made the movie seem like a run of the mill horror movie, which it cant be any further from

The movie keeps you guessing as it goes along to where you really cant see the ending coming until you are at the end. Joss Whedon has described the movie as a “loving hate letter” to horror movies

The best thing to do before you watch this movies is not watch the trailer and just watch it fresh, the way it was in tended to be watched, and enjoy the movie for what it is, which is a deeply enjoyable film watching experience

The storytelling in this movie is top notch and I would recommend anyone who likes horror movies or any kind of movies to go see The Cabin In The Woods

I really love this movie and it is one of my favorite films of 2012
